2017 Toyota Corolla Tire Pressure Light Reset

The following guide will show you how to reset the tire pressure warning light on the 2017 Toyota Corolla.

In the 10th and the 11th generation Toyota Corolla models you could have had a TPMS feature fitted to your model.

This tire pressure monitoring system keeps track of the pressure within your tires and alerts you to any problems.

If you see a solid tire press warning light on your Corolla’s dashboard then it means that you have low tire pressure in one or more tires.

A flashing tire pressure warning signifies a constant release of pressure and is indicative of a puncture or problem with the system.

To fix the constantly illuminated light in your Corolla you need to first inflate the tires to the correct PSI and then do the following to reset the light:

  1. Park your car somewhere safe where you won’t be a nuisance to other users of the road.
  2. If you have a push-button start version of the Corolla then turn the power on in the car (by pressing the power button twice) but do not press the brake (to avoid starting the engine).
  3. Otherwise; turn the key in the ignition to the point just before it powers up the starter motor so that you can use the menu system.
  4. Look for the tire pressure reset button (next to an icon of a side profile of a flat tire) somewhere on the dashboard, it would likely be below the steering wheel by your knees or inside the glove box.
  5. Press this RESET button and hold it down until the TPMS warning light flashes 3 times and then release it.
  6. Wait for at least 3 minutes and then turn the car OFF completely, when you turn your Corolla back on it should no longer have the tire pressure warning light illuminated.
