2010 Chrysler 300 Oil Service Light Reset
The following guide will show you how to reset the oil service warning light on the 2010 Chrysler 300.
Many of the first-generation Chrysler 300 models were fitted with a system that warned owners to contact their local dealers about an oil change required.
This was a simple timed message that wasn’t actually based on any sensors and if you feel you don’t need to pay attention to it then you can easily “reset” it.
To do this is super simple and you do not need any tools:
- Start by turning your 300 model on by using the key and turning it to the point before the engine is started OR pressing the stop-start button twice without depressing the brake pedal so it doesn’t start the car.
- Now with the instrument cluster lit up you need to press the accelerator pedal all the way down three times to the floor. This must be done within 10 seconds in total.
You should now see that the message is no longer appearing on your dashboard and you can restart the car without the oil change required message appearing anymore.
