0 Chrysler Town and Country Light Reset
The following guide will show you how to reset the warning light on the 0 Chrysler Town and Country.
The Chrysler Town & Country is a minivan that was produced by the American car manufacturer between 1990 and 2016. Chrysler gave this model the namesake of the flagship station wagon of the same name that was on the market between 1941 and 1988.
A total of five generations hit the market over the course of its lifespan. The final generation debuted in 2008 and was discontinued in 2016.
The minivan featured both a 3-door and 4-door layout over the years, but the trend moved towards more doors as the Pacifica now features a 5-door configuration. This move was obviously made to compete with other models in the class which commonly featured five doors for convenience.
The most notable competition for the Town & Country includes the Dodge Grand Caravan, Honda Odyssey, and Toyota Sienna.
Trim levels have changed over the years, but the final iteration consisted of six packages. These consisted of the base LX, followed by the Touring, S, Touring L, Limited, and Limited Platinum.
Each trim featured increased luxury and premium features, apart from the S package. This version focused on giving the Town & Country a sporty feeling.
Chrysler also released the 30th and the 90th Anniversary Editions. These models gave homage to the long heritage of the model’s nameplate.
To provide sufficient performance for a large minivan, powertrains have typically ranged between 3.0 L and 4.0 L. Most of the engines offered were petrol, with the exception of a single 2.8 L diesel engine for certain markets.
Rather than being fully discontinued, Chrysler instead opted to retire the nameplate, giving the seventh generation the name Chrysler Pacifica. Unlike the original nameplate belonging to a station wagon, this change was done to keep the minivan class within Chrysler’s roster.
